Bronzefigur einer turnerisch-rhythmisch tanzenden jungen Frau mit zurückgeneigtem Körper, in der Tanzpose des Art déco der 1920er-Jahre, auf runder Plinthe, schwarz patiniert. Sandoz hat sich als Sohn eines Pharmaunternehmers der Bildhauerei zugewandt und schuf nahezu 1.800 Skulpturen. Bekannt sind seine großen Seepferdskulpturen mit ähnlich gestalteten Frauenfiguren im Wasser des Genfersees. 1933 gründete er die Société française des animaliers, und zeigte 1937 Arbeiten im Pavillon der Société des artistes décorateurs auf der Weltfachausstellung Paris. 1947 wurde er Mitglied der Pariser Académie des Beaux-Arts.
