Tischaufsatz in Silber in Form des Schildkrötenbrunnens in Rom.
Der opulente Tafelaufsatz ist eine verkleinerte Wiederholung des in Rom von Giacomo della Porta errichteten und mit Figuren von Bernini 1659 vollendeten Brunnens auf der Piazza Mattei im Rione Sant’Angelo. Der Brunnen gilt als Meisterwerk des Barock. In der Silberschmiedewerkstatt von Mortet entstanden noch weitere Miniaturbrunnen, neben Medaillen und Figurengüssen. Der vierseitige Aufbau auf einem dem Original annähernd entsprechenden quadratischen Sockel in Porphyr, mit runden Eckvorsprüngen. (1401838) (11)
