Die hier präsentierte Kupfertafel im Stil von Carlo Dolci zeigt ein feinst aufgefasstes Motiv in Gestalt der betenden Madonna vor durch ihren Nimbus erhelltem dunklem Fond, deren Blick jedoch nicht ihren hinzuzudenkenden Händen, sondern dem Betrachter gilt.
Der in Florenz tätige Künstler war ein Schüler und Nachahmer von Carlo Dolci (1616-1686). (1401742) (13)
