Ausführung in Carrara Marmor nach der bekannten antiken Figur, die ihren Namen nach der ursprünglichen Farnesischen Sammlung erhielt und sich heute im Archäologischen Nationalmuseum zu Neapel befindet. Die Beliebtheit der Figur, die den Halbgott mit dem Fell des nemeischen Löwen zeigt, hat schon früh zu zahlreichen Wiederholungen geführt. Auf profiliertem und kassettierten Marmorsockel.
