Maria Giovanna Battista Clementi,
auch genannt „La Clementina“,

Beigegeben ein Gutachten vom 20. Februar 1989 mit Identifizierung der Dargestellten und Provenienzangaben, in Kopie.

Jeweils als Dreiviertelportrait in eleganter Kleidung, die Dame in architektonischem Gefüge mit Rundsäule und grünen Velum, das Herrenportrait mit rötlichem Ehrentuch mit Goldbordüre hinterfangen. Clementi lernte in Turin bei dem Hofmaler Giovanni Battista Curlando, durch den sie sich auf Portraits spezialisierte. 1733 zog sie mit ihrem Gemahl in den Palast des Carlo Giacinto Roero. Sie malte zahlreiche Portraits der Familie Savoyen.
