Giacomo Balla,
1871 Turin – 1958 Rom
Balla studierte an der Albertina in Turin und ging danach nach Rom. Um die Jahrhundertwende besuchte er Paris, wo er sich mit dem NeoimÂpresÂsioÂnismus intensiv auseinandersetzte. 1910 verfasste er in Italien das Technische Manifest der futuristischen Maler. Er zählt zu den bedeutendsten und ersten Futuristen.

Zwischen Plexiglas eingefasst auf Sockel.
In den 20er Jahren begann der Futurist, unter Zuhilfenahme alltäglicher Gegenstände zu zeichnen. Die vorliegende Arbeit ist eine auf diese Weise entstandene Zeichnung, die mit Hilfe eines Glasuntersatzes gefertigt wurde.

Beiliegend eine Expertise von Elena Gigli von 2006 mit der Nummerierung "serie 2006 n. 242".
