In leichter Schrägsicht vor dunklem Hintergrund eines Innenraums ein Mädchen in gelb-rotem Gewand mit weißem Rock und rotem Schmuck, in ihrer linken Hand ein kleines bräunliches Gefäß haltend. In der unteren linken Ecke der Kopf, die Pfote und das leuchtend rote Halsband eines Hundes, der sie mit geöffnetem Maul ankläfft, um sie wohlmöglich von einem Diebstahl abzuhalten. Erschrocken blickt das junge Mädchen auf den angsteinflößenden Hund herab. Malerei mit starken Hell-Dunkel-Kontrasten mit einem Motiv, die des einen Dieb oder Diebin ankläffenden Hundes, das in der Malerei der Zeit häufiger zu finden ist. (1362386) (18)
