Hinter schmalen hohen, bis zum Himmel reichenden grau-braunen Bäumen eine Herde von Hengsten auf einem Pfad nach rechts galoppierend, umgeben von Schneelandschaft. Der Himmel in weißen, grauen und rosafarbenen gestaffelten Streifen wiedergegeben. Malerei in raschem Pinselduktus und beige-braunen Sprenkelungen.
Der Künstler war der Sohn des symbolistischen Malers Jacques Brasilier und dessen Ehefrau Alice Chaumont. Er studierte ab 1949 an der École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, wurde im Alter von 23 Jahren mit dem prestigeträchtigen Premier Prix de Rome für Malerei ausgezeichnet. Die Faszination seiner Werke liegt im Spiel der leuchtenden und frischen Farben sowie dem Einsatz nur weniger Konturen. Die Themen innerhalb seines Werkes sind oft Pferde, Kavalkaden und Blumen. 2005 zeigte das Museum der Eremitage in Sankt Petersburg eine große Retrospektive seines Werks. (†)
