In einem in Grisailletechnik angedeuteten Innenraum an einem Tisch mit frühlingshafter Tischdecke das junge Ehepaar sitzend in früher Biedermeier Kleidung. Während Einzelportraits im Schaffen des gebürtigen Wieners häufiger zu finden sind, trifft man nur selten auf solche Doppelportraits, insbesondere mit räumlicher Orientierung. Da Kriehuber 1818 den Fürsten Sanguszko von Slawuta als Zeichenlehrer nach Polen begleitete und erst 1821 wieder nach Wien zurückkehrte, ist anzunehmen, dass die vorliegende Miniatur auf seiner Reise entstand. Das gold punzierte Lederetui mit betitelndem Etikett.
