(1120565) (11)

THE ANNUCIATION
Oil on canvas.
61.5 x 80 cm.
Accompanied by expert's reports by Professor Dr Peter Wolf, dated 30 October 2015 and by Dr Tátrei, dated November 2015.
According to traditional iconography, the Virgin is shown kneeling on a praying stool on the right while the Angel of Annunciation is approaching from the left, floating on a cloud. The painting is in the style of Damiano Mazza from Padua, but it also shows stylistic influences the Titian tradition.
