Qualitätvolle Schnitzbüste einer Gottvater-Darstellung, wie sie üblicherweise über einem Hochaltarauszug aufgestellt ist. Die Halbfigur mit ausgebreitetem Mantel, der die obere Hälfte einer Wolkenbank überdeckt, der linke Arm an den Oberkörper angelegt, der Unterarm nach vorne gerichtet, die Hand angewinkelt, der rechte Arm ausgebreitet, fehlt ab der unteren Oberarmpartie. Der Kopf nach links gerichtet mit Blick in die Ferne. Die Kleiderfalten in der typischen Weise des Künstlerstils, kantig wiedergegeben mit breiten, nebeneinander liegenden Schnitzmuldungen. Die originale Fassung überwiegend erhalten. Das Kleid grau gefasst, Gürtel und Gewandsaum vergoldet. Eine vergleichbare Gottvater Figur befindet sich am Imster Michaelsaal um 1630 sowie am Pfünzer Hochaltar und der Pfarrkirche Karthaus von 1626/ 27, jeweils in ähnlichen Größenverhältnissen, publiziert bei Albrecht Miller unter der Kat.Nr. 69.

Original polychrome decoration largely preserved. The garment with grey polychrome decoration, gilded belt and hem. A comparable God the Father figure is held at the Michaelsaal in Imst, circa 1630 at the Pfunzer high alter, and the Karthaus parish church dated 1626/ 27 each with similar proportions, published by Albrecht Miller, cat. no. 69.
